Little Lily
I haven’t had the best of weekends. Sadly, we lost one of our dear bunnies on Saturday. Little Lily fought hard, and the vet did everything he could, but it was time to let her go. She was in pain, and my own need to hold on to her was unfair. The choice I made to let her go has to have been the hardest one I have ever had to make. Lily was only three years old, and I know that if she hadn’t got so sick, she would have had lots more years of binkying and playing with her little bunny clan in the garden. Sweet dreams, Little Lily. You were loved so much, and we miss you beyond belief.

Notebooks.
So, the majority of last week I spent with Lily. Giving her the medication she had to take and, even though she was struggling, making sure she was as comfy and happy as possible. And, I am so glad that I did.
But, it did mean that not a lot else was going on for me. I sketched and wrote (more on that in a mo) and came up with some new design ideas for notebooks which I plan to start on this week.
These are some of my current designs showing with the Inverarity Gallery in Scotland. I think that all designs are available except for Amelie, who has sold out.
The exhibitions ‘Eye Spy’ with the Inverarity Gallery and ‘Obra Prima’ exhibition with Penumbra Gallery continue throughout May.
…Book Update
Chapter 3 is finished, and I am so excited to be moving through Chapter 4. There are some fantastic adventures just around the corner for these girls xx

Thank you for taking the time to read my mutterings. I think that as you come to know me more, you will see how I love to write as well as create art. Writing about Lily has really helped me, although I will admit to a few tears in the process.
If you would like to keep tabs on the adventures of the Seven Sisters or hear about the silliness, I have been getting up to, then you can sign up to my inner circle, and I will post this to you every Tuesday for our regular chit-chat. You will also get a 20% discount voucher to spend in the shop.
I am in need of plenty of smiles right now so; you could post in the comments or message me something funny if you prefer, I would love to chatter all things smile-inducing.
Lots of Big-Eyed Love,
Deborah xx
